Japanese born British pianist, Tomoaki, made his concerto debut with Tokyo New City Orchestra at an early age and has since given recitals in Europe, USA, Australia, South East and East Asia at venues including Schubert Saal at Wiener Konzerthaus, Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall New York and Blue Rose Hall at Suntory Hall Tokyo.

Concerto performances include those with Swedish Chamber Orchestra/ Thomas Daasgard and Japan Philharmonic Orchestra/ R.Numajiri.

Universal Japan released Tomoaki's debut CD of Chopin's Ballades in 2004. A live Tokyo recital recording was released by Sony and Victor HD online in 2015 and his album of Chopin's Polonaises, recorded live, will be released in 2017.

Tomoaki is a recipient of multiple prizes in his native country and Europe, including unanimous First Prize and Gold Medal in the national final of Kawai Music Competition and Silver Medals in both Rome and San Sebastian International Piano Competition.

Tomoaki is a Steinway Artist.
